I'm such a happy snowman
I love the winter time
I love those Christmas carols,
and the jolly way they rhyme

I have two marbles for my eyes,
a pretty carrot nose,
A coloured scarf adorns my neck
I've snowballs for my toes

I wear a battered bowler hat
with branches for my arms
Watching over all my friends
So no-one comes to harm

I stand out in the garden,
all crisp and fresh and clean
I have the biggest snowman's smile
The best you've ever seen

The local children call me Bert
The post-girl calls me Bart ????
She brings me lots of Christmas cards
Which really warms my heart

"Dancing 'round the snowman"
is the family's favourite game
With kiddies laughing loudly…
...before they shout my name

But when the springtime comes around,
and the weather gets too warm!
Santa's Fairy Snowflake Queen
Brews up a magic storm

She whisks them off to Lapland
Where Santa's volunteers
Pamper them with cool ice cream
Till they return next year
