Grand Falls #7

Posted by
Don Levesque (Saint John, Canada) on 5 January 2011 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

The Grand Falls Dam and Falls as seen from the Ron Turcotte Bridge on January 1st, 2011 (it was a rainy day).

The dam is there to hold back a certain level of water which then flows into an intake tunnel. The tunnel goes under the town to the "Power House" where the water turns turbines and produces electricity.
