Hartland Covered Bridge 3 of 6

Posted by
Don Levesque (Saint John, Canada) on 22 July 2011 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Pedestrian walkway

Since the bridge was built out of cedar spruce and hard pine, and local businessmen were used, the costs came in much lower then the amount of between $70,000.00 and $80,000.00 that was first quoted.

A pedestrian walkway was added to the bridge in 1945.
