Red dogs and burgers

Signs of a party when you've got red dogs and burgers on the grill. ;-)

Note: Do not adjust your screen. What you are seeing is the actual neon red color of the Maine red hotdog -dyed red, all-pork dogs with natural casings. These are also called 'Red Snappers' (think color and the snapping sound of a natural casing as it's bitten).

@ursulakatariina: Bring a pound of regular dogs and 5 pounds of these dogs and you'll have reg hotdogs left over. They are delicious!

Great shot and good eats...the burgers look delicious and I've never heard of a "red dog", very interesting and sounds appetizing!

@B. Thomas: They are called Jordans Red Hot Dogs or "Red Snappers" and are sold in Maine. Almost every time we cross the US border into Maine, we come back with a pack of red hotdogs. They are coloured red but are not spicy hot. You would love them Barbara!

@Laurie: It was the Levesque's family reunion. If you like hot dogs, you would love these. They are from Maine. They have a red casing but are not spicy. Thanks Laurie!
