Between sleep and awake (3/7)

Posted by
Don Levesque (Saint John, Canada) on 4 April 2012 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

On March 20th at 1:14am EDT, Spring officially started in the Northern Hemisphere. On that date, in my part of the world, there was still a little bit of snow on the ground. Plants haven't woken up yet from their winter sleep.

B. Thomas, in her comment on my March 21st post titled Nature's Velcro said: "It's interesting how dead things like this can have their own beauty."

This series of photos show us that even after a winter's sleep, plants can still be beautiful.

Hope you enjoy!
