For me, a church building like this has more relevance than the finest cathedral. And look at the wonderful clean light, too !

Anglican churches in rural areas were not fancy but they served the purpose. I'm from Nova Scotia and as a girl I attended an Anglican church much like this one. That white really stands out! There's a grave stone by the front of the church... that's unusual. Is it still being used? A nice capture Don, I enjoyed!

@Carol: Thanks Carol! There was a couple grave stones close to the church. The one you see was marked 2005. On the left side of the church, there is a big cemetery which wasn't full. Here's a [LINK] to the parish. From what I've read, the church is only used in the summer.

Seems like it should have a cross on the top. :) You did a great job - I like the lower angle - the cloud-

@Bruce: Thanks Bruce! As for a cross on the top, I've found many churches that didn't have one. There's even one here [LINK] that has a fish at the top of the bell tower.

Charming church and setting; I like how the gravestone is so close to the church ~ we don't see this in our area. Fantastic photo!

@RBL: Thanks Ruthie! I was standing in an old cemetery and there also was newer one on the left side of the church. The gravestone you see was dated 2005, maybe someone special was buried there.
